The Musical Fidelity M6CD is a CD player with more than one trump card up its sleeve. As you may expect from a player of this level, the Musical Fidelity M6CD has a high quality 24-bit/192kHz upsampling Delta-Sigma DAC in dual differential configuration which, according to the manufacturer, guarantees excellent linearity, low noise and distortion values and a completely flat frequency response. More surprising is that the Musical Fidelity M6CD can also play the part of a fully-fledged DAC. After all, there are three digital inputs on the rear panel (optical, coax and usb). For the analogue output the user has a balanced XLR output and a stereo cinch output at his disposal. In addition, there are also an optical and coax digital output. With the M6CD, Musical Fidelity promises a natural, smooth and soft reproduction without any hard edges, coupled with excellent spaceousness and a stereo image with impressive dynamics.
