Enjoy your DVDs as well – the Pioneer BDP-LX55 will upgrade your DVD video files to almost HD quality. From upconvert DVD video to near HD quality. From CDs, USB and via LAN, you can play popular compressed media formats, such as MP3 and DivX Plus HD. Sound Retriever Link and Stream Smoother Link will increase the quality of compressed audio/video files when the player is used in combination with the accompanying AV receivers.

Via LAN (optional WiFi converter available) you will get access to network functions such as BD-Live, YouTube videos and photo viewing, and you will be able to play files from a pc or network media server (which is connected to the same LAN and has a multimedia content server). You can also control the Pioneer BDP-LX55 with your smartphone or tablet thanks to iControlAV2 for Android and iPod touch / iPhone / iPad.

The unique PQLS guarantees a jitter free transfer of uncompressed 2 channel or multi-channel LPCM, as well as bitstream audio via HDMI to the compatible AV receivers of Pioneer.

A sound system that sounds perfect in our store may prove disappointing at home. Sound quality can be affected by a range of factors, including positioning of the loud speakers, wall covering, carpets, curtains, furniture etc. Your viewing experience can be affected by the same factors. We employ specially trained and certified advisers and installers who will optimize your plasma TV or projector to your specific living or work environment.

Our advisers will carefully assess the room(s) in which you would like to install the AV system. Once we have received your floor plan, complete with dimensions and design details of the room in which you would like to place the sound system, we will calculate the sound effects created by the design and furnishings of this room and select one of our Palazzo 21 listening rooms that best match this room. This in turn enables us to tailor our advice to the specific needs and wishes of the customer.

You will then be invited to listen to the selected system and to compare it to other systems. Backed by years of experience, we know that the purchase of Hi-fi equipment is a highly personal process. We therefore recommend that you bring your own CDs with you. Our advice and demonstrations are entirely free of charge and free of obligation.
