While many manufacturers base their production abroad, Focal chooses to invest strongly in its own production facilities. Focal speakers are "100% Made in France"... from the drivers to the cabinets... as a result of which a continuous innovation can take place without depending on the designs and developments of other manufacturers. This strategy was already the key to the success of the original Chorus range. The new Focal JMLab Chorus 800 V line continuous to build on this success.
The Chorus line symbolizes the construction of an excellent speaker combined with the ultimate objective of the loudspeaker builder: making a technologically highly advanced speaker available, that is within the reach of the largest number of consumers. The objective of the first two generations: Chorus (in 2000) and Chorus S (in 2003), was to develop a speaker with a high end sound by using the sophisticated true building techniques of Focal JMLab and to combine them with the latest production techniques.
