Pioneer VSX-LX55

The Pioneer VSX-LX55 is able to adjust your loudspeakers in an intelligent way. This is an ideal feature, as it is virtually impossible to place surround loudspeakers in an ideal position. Just like a real sound professional, the MCACC technology will analyse the existing sound field using a microphone and will automatically adjust the timing of the sound in order to accurately adapt the system to your room.

With the Pioneer VSX-LX55 you will no longer need a docking station; you can directly connect your Apple device to the receiver. Thanks to the digital connection, you will get the best possible audio quality (further improved by means of the Advanced Sound Retriever). On your TV you can watch photos and videos and stream apps such as YouTube to your TV.

The Pioneer VSX-LX55 is DLNA certified. So you can use the receiver in a home network. The receiver also offers the possibility of using AirPlay. With this, you can wirelessly stream music from you iTunes music library, using any compatible appliance.

iControlAV2 is Pioneers’ 2nd generation app that allows you to control all major receiver functions from your smartphone or tablet-pc. Start a song, select an input, adjust the listening modes and change the sound balance or accent from one app. Available for Android and iOS, with an extra dedicated interface for the iPad.

Air Jam is a Bluetooth based app allowing a group of people to connect their iPhone, iPod touch or iPad and add their songs to the receiver's play list. The participants can see which song was played, is being played or will be played - an excellent way to share and discover music. Requires iOS 4.2 with iPhone 4/3GS/3G, iPad or iPod touch (2nd generation or higher).
