Denon PMA-SA1
Stereo Amplifier
The Denon PMA-SA1 amplifier is developed with the sole aim of amplifying the incoming signal, without adding anything to it, or even worse, eliminating anything from it. In this way, everything is geared to high-fidelity amplification. As with the earlier models, the Denon PMA-SA1 was made with great attention to resonance suppression. The designers went to great lengths to nip any resonance in the bud or to prevent that sensitive parts start resonating. This is one of the reasons why the Denon PMA-SA1 is such a heavyweight: 30kg. Good protection of the individual amplifier section is crucial. Consequently, the Denon PMA-SA1 is composed of no less than six independent blocks. From input to end amplification - everything is separated maximally to prevent mutual manipulation, so that an optimum reproduction quality is always guaranteed. A contribution to this is made by the Simple & Straight signal paths. The incoming signal from the DCD-SA1 is best processed via the XLR ports. The amplifier's balanced design keeps any negative effect of the earth on the audio signal out: noise and interference are eliminated to the highest degree, resulting in an extremely spatial and accurate music reproduction. Other details of the Denon PMA-SA1 worth mentioning are for instance, the hand-made volume adjuster, the coppered frame components, the heavy speaker ports, a high-quality and fully independent Phono pre-amplifier, and the specially selected components, which guarantee a "European sound".
