The Cambridge Audio Azur 650T is an integrated DAB+, fm- and am-tuner. The tuner offers a fully separate processing of digital and analogue broadcasts.Similar to the other appliances from the Azur series, the Cambridge Audio Azur 650T has been completely redesigned, both inside and outside. It is one of the first tuners with DAB+. According to Cambridge Audio this will allow you to receive digital broadcasts in the highest possible quality, through the AAC+/HE-AAC audio format. Because of DAB+, it is even possible to receive more stations.Cambridge Audio wants to increase the listening quality through the Natural Contour Technology (NCT) circuit of their own design. This circuit is supported by the Wolfson WM8740 digital to analogue converter. There are two settings: 'warm' will add analogue-like sounds to programmes that seem too digital and 'lively' is used to make compressed files sound better.The Cambridge Audio Azur 650T has a new design that is based on the original Azur series that was introducted to the market five years ago. The brushed aluminium front panel is thicker. The Cambridge Audio Azur 650T also has a seamless housing and damped feet that will counteract unwanted resonance.
