The Marantz BD5004 is provided with a new, full Profile2.0/BD-Live specification, which means that it is provided with an internet connection for downloading additional film content. It is also able to upscale DVDs to 1080p. The new design with the centred mechanism perfectly fits in the Marantz receiver and amplifier line. In addition, the Marantz BD5004 has a stereo output for analogue signals from CDs or downmixed DVD and Blu-ray sound, while HD Audio sound is streamed through the HDMI 1.3a output. And for purists who want to enjoy music from CDs, we have a Pure Direct mode.
