Although the Marantz UD8004 is a more accessible universal player, it remains a flagship appliance with an unprecedented fantastic quality, which strongly profits from the Marantz UD9004. Its absolute video integrity guarantees excellent Blue-ray reproduction and it actively improves the quality of your DVD - as the video processing of the new Anchor Bay-chip optimizes each signal with adaptive 3D-de-interlacing, noise suppression and detail improvement. For the analogue video output, the Marantz UD8004 applies a 297 MHz/12-bits DAC. At the audio side, Marantz made sure that CD and Super Audio CD are reproduced in an excellent manner, thanks to a specific power supply that is exclusively intended for analogue audio. HDAM-SA2s are used for all channels and are divided over two independent audio print plates. And all these functions and the high quality reproduction are housed in a very solid frame.
