With BD Live (Profile 2.0) and HDMI 1.3 “Deep Colour” support, the new NAD T 577 is already a very complete Blu-ray player. In addition, the NAD T 577 is also a streaming media player with DLNA support. Thanks to the streaming features of the NAD T 577, it is possible to play DivX, AVCHD, MPEG 4 files etc. from a hard disk or computer. This can be done through a standard Ethernet connection, but also wireless. Of course, the picture of the NAD T 577 is very sharp, this topper decodes the known formats, but also HD audio formats. As you may expect from NAD, the sound is of excellent quality, which is obvious with 24 bit/192kHz D/A converters and other high quality components. The NAD T 577 is unique with its speed, reading a Blu-ray disc will only take a few seconds, where competitors sometimes need more than a minute.
