Pioneer SC-LX85

It is almost impossible to place surround loudspeakers in an ideal location. Just like a true sound professional, the MCACC technology of the Pioneer SC-LX85 will analyse the existing sound field using a microphone (included) and the Pioneer SC-LX85 will adjust the the timing of the sound in order to precisely adapt the system to your room.

A docking station is no longer necessary; you can connect your Apple device directly to the Pioneer SC-LX85. Thanks to the digital connection, you will get the best possible audio quality (further improved by means of the Advanced Sound Retriever). Moreover, you can watch photos and video on your tv and stream apps such as YouTube to the Pioneer SC-LX85.

With Apple's AirPlay you can stream music wirelessly from any compatible device (e.g. a Mac, iPhone or iPad). This means that, via your Pioneer SC-LX85, it is easy to enjoy your iTunes music library.

DLNA is now generally supported on PCs, laptops, smartphones and other appliances. The Pioneer SC-LX85 is DLNA certified, which means that you can easily stream audio from such an appliance via your home network.

A transfer via HDMI may cause clock jitter, which means that sound distortion can occur during the D/A conversion. PQLS performs a "speed synchronisation" on the digital audio data between the receiver and your Blu-ray player, and thus reduces the jitter. The result is clear, rich and precise audio.

Advanced Video Adjust optimizes the video signal according to your type of screen or projector. Based on the MCACC calibration data, it also adjusts the image quality to your distance from your screen.

With AVNavigator, the installation is a piece of cake. Wiring Navi automatically adapts your Pioneer SC-LX85 to your personal installation, including loudspeakers and other appliances, while the interactive manual will introduce you to each function in an intuitive way. AVNavigator is included on a cd-rom and is also available as a free iPad-app.
