Kef Blade

In honour of their 50th anniversary, Kef will introduce the remarkable Blade to the market, an ambitious high-end loudspeaker that does not only boast breath-taking looks, but also promises high level performances.

The Kef Blade is a further development of the much-discussed concept speaker that Kef introduced in 2009.

The streamlined Kef Blade contains the most progressive technology that Kef has to offer at this moment.

The Kef Blade provides a reproduction that comes scarily close to a live performance. Here, Kef follow a principle that they call 'Single Apparent Source'. What it comes down to, is that the individual driver sections (for the bass, the midrange and the high reproduction) each produce their own sound field that seems to come from one point and location.

In order to achieve this, Kef gave special attention to the crossover filter and used a new design for the well-known own-brand UniQ set-up of the high and mid units.

The four advanced 9-inch woofers of the Kef Blade have a unique configuration in the housing, whereby they are arranged symmetrically in relation to each other. This approach combined with the side-firing set-up, must make sure that the reproduction is perfectly integrated with the reproduction of the high and mid units.

By default, the Kef Blade is delivered in high gloss white or black. Optionally, you can choose a different colour, such as Garnet, Sapphire, Grigio, Racing Red, Racing Blue, Pale Gold, Orange Sorbet, Graphite, Stardust, Lemon Sorbet, Lime Sorbet or Snow White.
