Elac SUB 2040 ESP

The Elac SUB 2040 ESP provides a new standard for compact subwoofers. Driven by a powerful 300 watts class D amplifier, both aluminium sandwich woofers, placed in Push-Push/Pull-Pull, generate a very expressive and tight low. And all this virtually without cabinet resonances that would affect the quality of the sound reproduction. By placing the chassis opposite each other in this way, it is made sure that the mechanical impulses which - in a conventional design - would be transferred to the housing are virtually completely neutralized. In addition, a solid rod connects both chassis. A room tuning circuit guarantees an optimum tuning of the Elac SUB 240 ESP subwoofer to the acoustics in the listening space. The universal connection features of the Elac SUB 2040 ESP allow you, in addition to three (!) loudspeaker inputs (e.g. left, right and centre), to make a parallel connection with the LFE channel of the surround receiver at the same time. Both in case of stereo and surround application, this guarantees an optimum low reproduction, virtually independent of the settings in the low management of the surround receiver. For the colour white a price of € 979,- applies.
