The 3-way bass reflex iQ90 is an uncommonly impressive reproducer, making the sound image almost tangible. The 160 mm Uni-Q midrange/low range reproducer has KEF's sophisticated new 19 mm metal dome tweeter (FerroFluid cooled, for even more load capacity), providing a silky midrange/low range reproduction and natural sounding voices. The woofers are a completely new design, provided with a die-cast chassis and capable of a large linear deflection. Of course, the separation filters are of top quality, and the internal shore of the cabinet will make sure that the iQ90 is not troubled with panel resonances. The result is a pure, pleasant and incredibly accurate sound image, that will sound great in a large room.
