Magico Q5

The Magico Q5 is a beautiful design without compromise, which is obvious from its seemingly simply and functional housing. Although the new Magico Q5 is not much bigger than the V3, the Magico Q5 does bring a weight of appoximately 200kg per piece. The housing is fully made of aluminium and brass and is manufactured in Magico's brand new production facilities.The Magico Q5 offers a unique balance between mass and rigidity that was almost unreachable until now, because of the huge cost price. Assembly of a single loudspeaker takes at least one week, due to the accuracy required and the applied tolerances.Also when designing and choosing the used loudspeaker units, all posible variables were weighted. For instance, a completely new Beryllium tweeter was designed, the MBe-1, combining the latest developments in controlling the break up behaviour of beryllium diaphragm with the Magico designed MR1 drive. All the other loudspeaker units consist of Magica designed and patented Nanotec units that underwent a number of small changes for the Magico Q5 in order to reach the best result.
