Where other brands base their development on measuring technique first and musical rendering comes second, the opposite is true for TMA Audio.
TMA Audio uses light cone materials and strong magnets with high internal damping such as textile tweeters and paper or paper-composite bass/mid cones.
Using the two-way principle allows us to render the full vocal range with a loudspeaker cone without separating ground and upper tones from each other. This results in a much more natural sound. TMA Audio loudspeakers have steep crossover filters (TMA Audio PCSC = Phase Correct Steep Crossover) and well though-out tipping points, so that each speaker must do no more than what it was designed for. This results in: low distortion, high transient response, excellent spread, point source rendering, spatial and a very natural rendering.
The crossover filters have been produced using only the highest quality and paired materials. Unfortunately, such systems cannot be computer designed, which is why other manufacturers do not use this.
