The Electrocompaniet Nordic Tone - Model 1 is the first product based on one of the biggest research and development projects in loudspeaker design ever performed.

The goal of the Electrocompaniet Nordic Tone - Model 1 is to achieve a lifelike sound in a domestic context, and, at the same time, emphasise the beautiful, modern design which will look fantastic in any interior.

The chassis is made of thin, rigid spherically shaped material. Because spherical surfaces increase rigidity.

The reason of this search fro thin, rigid materials, is because high-frequency resonance is easier to dampen.
